Overcoming Limiting Beliefs and Blocks Saturday, September

Beliefs and Blocks
"Sensible
and responsible women do not want to vote." --Grover Cleveland, President of the United States, 1905
"Everything that can be invented has been invented" --Charles H. Duell, Director
of U.S. Patent Office, 1899
"Heavier
than air flying machines are impossible." --Lord Kelvin, President, Royal Society, circa 1895
Although these quotes are laughable now, what limiting beliefs have you accepted and allowed
to influence your life? What do you want to do, but stop yourself because you believe you can't? Get a better job?
Go back to school? Lose weight? Start a new career? Get in shape? Stop smoking? Start your own business? Learn yoga or meditation? Get a divorce? Take that vacation? Spend more time with your family? Write
a book? Learn a new sport?
What stops you? Complete this sentence: I can't because _____________________.
Look at your reason, is it impossible? If your life depended upon it, could you do it? Is it really a "can't"
or is it "I choose not to," or "I'm afraid to," or "I have not made it a priority"?

Henry Ford had it right, don't you think? Grandma Moses started painting in her 70's, after arthritis forced her to abandon her career in embroidery. Beethoven continued to compose masterpieces even after he became deaf. Colonel Sanders founded Kentucky Fried Chicken when he was 62. He first started cooking chicken in the back of his gas station
when he was 40. Not that long ago, a woman in college was an oddity,
now women outnumber men in undergraduate studies and in medical schools!
How Can Hypnosis Help? Very
often these limiting beliefs have deep-seated roots in our subconscious. Of course there are seemingly valid reasons we use
to justify not taking a risk--reasons that make sense but are not the real reasons. If you would like to understand what is
really holding you back, and start the process of overcoming the obstacles to a more fulfilling life, please join us for this
workshop. It will include an exercise that will help you understand your blocks, and help you to find the best path for your
future happiness.
